The Kitaki Mansion

Wocky turned his head when he heard Pearl's voice and said, "Y-You say somthin"?"

'I didn't say..'
Pearl looked at Wocky.
'Actually.. What's wrong with having cute hair..?'
Pearl looked down. 'B-besides you being a gangster..'

Wocky looked back at her with sad eyes and said, "I... I-I'm sorry. I didn't mean to snap at ya... I'm jus' not used to people bein' nice to me..."

He then touched his hair again and said, "I-I guess I can see why it's cute to a girl, I guess..."

Pearl tilted her head a little.
'Well.. I'll be nice to you.' She said

Wocky smiled and said, "Thanks."

Pearl nodded.
'So, are there any other rooms here i can see?' She asked more happy then she actually felt.

"No, not really", Wocky said as he stood up and lead Pearl out of his room, "The rest of the rooms are mostly off limits, 'cause Pops says he don't want nobody in 'em without permission."

They then walked down the stairs and to the kitchen, "But we can come here, obviously. This is the kitchen, where Mom cooks everybody's food an' stuff... Jus' don't touch anythin'... She gets kinda mad when I don't put somethin' back."

'I see..' Pearl said while walking downstairs. Off limits..? Whys hould..
Pearl looked at Wocky and just decided to keep quiet.

Pearl looked around. It was a very pretty kitchen.
She listened to Wocky. 'I won't touch anything.'
I don't want his parents to get mad.

Wocky then went into the cabinet and grabbed a box of something out of it.

"I'm hungry", He said, "How 'bout you? I'm gonna make some instant noodles."

He wasn't much of a cook at all, and only was able to use a microwave.

Pearl nodded.
'Yeah i'm kinda hungry.. Last time i ate was.. eh, in the break.'
Pearl tried to remember what time that was, but she couldn't remember.
Since her boss wasn't in the shop she could decide when to take a break all by herself.

When Wocky put the noodles in the microwave he said, "Awright, then, I'll give the noodles I'm heatin' up now to you, an' make mine afterwards."

Pearl nodded happily.
'Thanks'

The microwave finally finished and took the noodles out and gave them to Pearl, along with a fork.

"Here ya go", He said as he started to make his own, "It ain't much, but I hope you like it."

Pearl took the noodles and inspected them.
'hmm, it looks great.' she said.
Pearl knew how to cook, she liked cooking to sometimes. But she'd never refuse getting something from others, Mystic Maya tought her that.

Pearl ate some noodles and looked at Wocky with a big smile.
She waited till het mouth was empty an then said 'It's great Wocky, thanks.'

Wocky smiled at her back and said, "T-Thanks... Never thought you'd like instant noodles..."

He then took his noodles out of the microwave and ate them.

'No? Well, i do like it..' Pearl said.
Actually, she tought her salad tastes better, but she didn't want to hurt Wocky.
'What do you like to eat?'

Wocky swallowed his noodles and said, "I like basically anything... But I don't like vegetables all that much. Mom tried to make me eat salad once and I hated it."

'I see..' Pearl said.
Better not make salad for him then.

"So, what kinda food do you like?" Wocky asked as he threw his noodle cup away.

Pearl placed her empty cup away and looked at Wocky.
'I like all kinds of food. And if i don't like something, i should just eat it. Mister Nick told me that.'
Pearl paused. 'Mystic Maya says i should at least try everything and if i don't like it i have to trow it away without anyone noticing it.'

"Oh... Well, if I don't like something", Wocky said as he lead Pearl out of the kitchen and back to the living room, "I just go out and say it."

'Oh, i mostly don't want to make people feel bad about their cooking.' Pearl said.
She smiled as she walked back to the living room.
She actually didn't feel very bad. She tried not to think of Dahlia and her plans, and that worked pretty well.

"I guess that's the best way", Wocky said as he sat on the couch, "If I ever went to your place, I'd probly like your cookin'."

He then smiled at her sweetly.

'Hmm, yeah i guess so..' Pearl looked down.
I just have to remember not to make salad

Wocky then stood up and said, "You wanna check out our backyard? There's a garden, just like in the front yard, but it's bigger with a pond."
